Mail>
e-Connection
The e-Connection portal enables you to view your Town accounts, make payments and get important property information.
What you can do | Description |
Get public information about a property | Search the current tax roll, find assessment values and legal description (Cost: Free) |
Make a tax payment | Pay your taxes online via credit card if you are out-of-town or out-of-country. |
Get a tax certificate | Purchase a tax certificate via credit card transaction (Cost: $58). |
Receive your tax bill by email (e-send) | Sign up to receive your property taxes through e-mail. Failure to receive a bill does not excuse the home owner from payment responsibility. |
Please note that the first time you use the e-Connection portal, you will create a username and password. Please have a Town account document (such as your latest tax bill) to get set up. If you have questions about e-Connection, please send an email to csr@tillsonburg.ca.
Pre-Authorization
The Town offers two pre-authorized payment plans for your convenience. You can choose to have funds automatically withdrawn when taxes are due, or spread out your payments over 10 months.
Please contact the Customer Service Centre for application deadlines and requirements. You will need to provide a signed application form and a void cheque in order to participate.
Financial Institution
Payment can be made at your branch, through online banking, or by telephone banking.
Your roll number will be required. The roll number is shown on your tax bill. Do not use spaces, dashes or decimals when entering the number.
As processing times can vary, please make your payment at least five (5) days prior to the due date. Payments must be received in our office by the due date to avoid interest charges.
You can make your tax payment by mailing a cheque to the Customer Service Centre.
- Make cheque payable to the "Town of Tillsonburg"
- Print your roll number on the front of your cheque and include your stub with payment
- Payments must be postmarked on or before the due date to avoid penalty
