Public Notice: Video recordings will be used to obtain Traffic and Pedestrian Counts

Paradigm Transportation Solutions Limited has been hired by the Town of Tillsonburg to conduct video-based traffic and sidewalk pedestrian counts as part of the Town’s Transportation Master Plan project. Paradigm will be using video recording devices to collect this data.

Recording traffic and pedestrian movements will take place the weeks of March 18 and March 25, 2024. During this time access to all roads and sidewalks will not be interrupted.

The video will be analyzed to see how many and what types of users (vehicles, trucks, cyclists, pedestrians) are passing through the data collection locations. Individuals and vehicle licence plates will not be identifiable with this type of video recording.
