Updated Garbage Bag Tag Pricing – Effective January 2026
Beginning January 1, 2026, the price of garbage bag tags will increase from $2 to $3 per tag. This adjustment helps us continue providing reliable waste collection services for our community.
What’s Staying the Same
- Tag Colour: The tags will remain the same colour—no design changes.
- Use Your Existing Tags: Any tags purchased in 2025 or earlier will still be valid and accepted at the curb.
Purchasing Tags in 2026
Starting in January 2026, all newly purchased garbage bag tags will cost $3 each.
No other changes are being made to the program at this time.
