Large Item Collection Program

Oxford County offers an annual program to facilitate the curbside collection of oversize waste. Tillsonburg has been divided into three collection zones. Your collection date is determined by your address.

June 17 - Zone 1
June 24 - Zone 2
July 2 - Zone 3

If you answer “yes” to any of the questions below, your item does NOT meet the program requirements and will not be collected.

  • Does your item weigh more than 45 kg (100 lbs)?
  • Can it be easily broken down into a garbage bag?
  • Is there another diversion program in place for this item?
  • Is your item small but you have a large quantity?

Transportation Master Plan and Survey

The Town of Tillsonburg has retained Paradigm Transportation Solutions Limited to develop the Town of Tillsonburg’s first Transportation Master Plan (TMP).

Tillsonburg’s first Transportation Master Plan will:

  • Guide transportation investment decisions over the next 10 years and beyond
  • Recommend ways to optimize the performance of existing infrastructure
  • Consider sustainability and be accompanied by a phasing plan tied to growth, affordability and community priorities

Citizens are invited to provide input on the Transportation Master Plan by completing a short online survey. The survey addresses how residents travel in Tillsonburg and asks for ideas on how to improve our transportation network. Learn more at www.tillsonburg.ca/tmp2024

Bridge Street Re-imagining Task Force Update 

The Bridge Street Re-imagining Task Force is seeking input from Tillsonburg residents on their latest Conceptual Streetscape Plan for the section of Bridge Street from Kinsmen Bridge to Lisgar Avenue.

Friday Night Fun Night

Summer Camps Added!

Good news! We’ve opened up more summer day camp availability.

Campers will enjoy a variety of fun, interactive and co-operative activities each day, including swimming at Lake Lisgar Waterpark.

If you’re still looking to register your children for Junior Camp (ages 5-8) or Senior Camp (ages 6-12), don’t delay. Spaces will fill up quickly.
