Volunteer Opportunities

The Town of Tillsonburg is looking for high school students who need community service hours! Volunteers are needed to assist at our Family Day events at the Community Centre and Annandale National Historic Site on Monday, February 19th, 2024. Names shortlisted for new Northcrest subdivision parks

The Town of Tillsonburg has narrowed down the list of names under consideration for two new parks in the Northcrest subdivision. The following names are under still consideration and are now being presented to the public for comment:

• Doug Wilson Park
• Perry Gosso Park
• Weston Family Park

Comments/concerns may be emailed to clerks@tillsonburg.ca. All comments must be received no later than February 17, 2024.

Winter Parking Restrictions

On-street parking is not permitted 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM from November 15 to March 31.

Additional Residential Units Open House

Are you thinking about building an Additional Residential Unit (ARU) on your property?

With the recent changes enacted under Bill 23, a maximum of two ARUs are permitted on each lot that has a single detached, semi-detached or townhouse dwelling.

Volunteer Achievement Awards

The Tillsonburg Volunteer Achievement Awards recognize individuals who make significant, sustained contributions to the community as a volunteer. Volunteer Achievement Awards are given for unpaid contributions in the following four categories:

• Sports, recreation and education
• Arts, culture and heritage
• Seniors and youth
• Civic

Nominations can be submitted at any time. Four recipients will be selected each year.
The Cultural, Heritage and Special Awards Advisory Committee will review all nominations.
