Road closures on March 19 due to tree removal

Bear St. (between Broadway and Bidwell St.) will be closed on March 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to facilitate a tree removal at 281 Broadway.

Concession St. W. (between Charlotte Ave. and Reid St.) will be closed between on March 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. to facilitate a tree removal at 95 Concession St. W. 

Detours will be in place in both locations. 

Residents residing within the road closure areas will continue to have access to their homes and driveways throughout the duration of the closure. 

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation while we complete this essential tree work. For everyone’s safety, please stay away from any active work zones and obey all signs or requests from the sites.

Both trees were identified for removal as part of the right-of-way tree inventory and assessment program administered by Public Works.
