PUBLIC NOTICE

Intent to Declare Surplus: Otter Lane Right-of-Way

The Subject Property is described as Otter Lane on Plan 507.

The purpose of this notice is to advise that the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg intends to declare a portion of the municipally owned Otter Lane Right-of-Way as surplus to the needs of the Town at the November 10, 2025 Council Meeting.

The Subject Property is described as Otter Lane on Plan 507.

Otter Lane is approximately 12 metres (40 feet) wide by 44 metres (143-145 feet) deep. The Otter Lane lands are also improved with a driveway to the 51 Parkwood Dr lands to the south. An existing storm sewer is located within these lands and an easement will be required to protect the ongoing location and use of this service

Interested parties will be required to enter into a legal agreement subject to approval by the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg. This notice is being provided in accordance with the Tillsonburg Land Disposition Bylaw 2021-031 and Section 270 (1) of the Municipal Act, 2001.

Members of the public are asked to bring forward any questions or concerns prior to or at the Monday, November 10, 2025 Council Meeting.

If declared surplus by Town Council, the deadline for registering interest or any concerns with respect to the proposed sale of this property is 12 PM (noon) on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
