The purpose of this notice is to advise that the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg intends to declare portions of the Unopened Right-of-Way, described as parts of Part 8, Plan 41R-940, and portions of a 1 foot reserve described as parts of Block 45, Plan 41M-232, south of Wood Haven Drive, as surplus to the needs of the Town at the June 26, 2023 Council Meeting and the Town is hereby providing notice of its intent to sell the same property to an adjacent property owner.

Broadway will be closed on June 17 for Turtlefest celebrations, including the Downtown Block Party. The closure will begin at 6:30 a.m. and a detour will be in effect until approximately 2:00 a.m. on June 18.

Tillsonburg residents are currently being targeted by telephone scammers claiming to be the “City of Tillsonburg Water Department.” These calls are fraudulent, and do not come from the Town of Tillsonburg or the County of Oxford.
The Town of Tillsonburg is proud to announce that Rosemary Dean has been named the 2023 Citizen of the Year. Dean will be presented with her award on June 20.
Tillsonburg residents on the municipal water system are asked to limit outdoor watering for lawns and gardens (by hose, irrigation system or attachment) to a maximum of once a week. Your watering day is determined by your address, and restricted to certain hours. Watering freshly planted gardens by container is permitted.
