2024 Large Item Collection Dates
Oxford County offers an annual program to facilitate the curbside collection of oversize waste. Tillsonburg has been divided into three collection zones. Your collection date is determined by your address. Check map to find your collection date.
- June 17 - Zone 1
- June 24 - Zone 2
- July 2 - Zone 3
Program Requirements
- Set out by 7:00 a.m. on the Monday (including statutory holidays) of your collection week. Late set outs may not be collected
- Place items no more than one metre from the curb
- Items must be set out on your property. Do not place across the road or in ditches. Make sure the items are easily visible (i.e., clear of tall grass)
- Maximum weight of any item is 45 kg (100 lbs)
- Bag tags are not required for large items

If you answer "yes" to any of the questions below, your item does NOT meet the program requirements and will not be collected.
- Does your item weigh more than 45 kg (100 lbs)?
- Can it be easily broken down into a garbage bag?
- Is there another diversion program in place for this item?
- Is your item small but you have a large quantity?
