he Town of Tillsonburg is proud to name Scott Gooding as its Citizen of the Year, recognizing a lifetime of service, compassion, and commitment to the people and institutions that make the community strong. This prestigious honour reflects the values Tillsonburg holds dear: generosity, volunteerism, leadership, and an unwavering dedication to community wellbeing. Mr. Gooding exemplifies these values through decades of service as an educator, coach, mentor, volunteer, and advocate for youth and families across the town.

As warm weather approaches and more residents begin enjoying Tillsonburg’s parks, the Town is introducing a new public education series: By Law Briefs: Parks Edition. This brand-new initiative is designed to share simple, easy to understand reminders from the Parks By Law. Throughout the spring and summer months, the Town will release short “briefs” of information to help park users better understand how to enjoy these shared spaces safely, respectfully, and in accordance with Town regulations.

TurtleFest is back for 2026, and Annandale National Historic Site is pleased to invite the community to take part in two days of turtle themed activities, family entertainment, and outdoor fun this June. TurtleFest continues to be a popular annual event, offering opportunities to learn, create, and celebrate wildlife and conservation in an engaging setting.
