Intent to declare surplus: South side of Venison Street East

Municipally owned lands located on the South side of Venison Street East, Lot 994, Plan 500  

The purpose of this notice is to advise that the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg intends to declare a parcel of municipally owned lands located on the South side of Venison Street East as surplus to the needs of the Town at the September 9, 2024 Council Meeting. 

The Subject Property is legally described as part of Lot 994, Plan 500 and more specifically described as Part 2, Plan 41R-7347. 

The parcel of land has approximately 18 metres (60 feet) of frontage on Venison Street E and 17 metres (57 feet) of depth, more or less.

Interested parties will be required to enter into a legal agreement subject to approval by the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg.  This notice is being provided in accordance with the Tillsonburg Land Disposition Bylaw 2021-031 and Section 270 (1) of the Municipal Act, 2001.     

Members of the public are asked to bring forward any questions or concerns prior to or at the Monday, September 9, 2024 Council Meeting.

If declared surplus by Town Council at the September 9, 2024 meeting, the deadline for registering interest or any concerns with respect to the proposed sale of this property is 4 PM on Monday, September 30, 2024
